Former CEO Cuts Ties With Eclipse Aviation

ALBUQUERQUE -- Eclipse Aviation's founder and former chief executive officer Vern Raburn has announced he is cutting all ties with the aircraft manufacturer.The move comes more than two weeks after being ousted from the company's top job as part of a refinancing deal.Raburn was made vice chairman of the Albuquerque-based manufacturer's international partner European Technology and Investment Research Center Aviation, or ETIRC Aviation.
But Raburn said he has decided not to accept the position. He said now he won't have any relationship with Eclipse.Chairman of ETIRC Aviation Roel Pieper is heading Eclipse as acting CEO.
